In December 2023 we had 3 Clinics and one Race (Lanzarote Optimist Trophy) Coaching 60 different sailors from 20 Countries in our Puerto Calero base in Lanzarote – Spain.
The amount of hours sailed was 100% of the planned with great sailing conditions and fantastic weather for sailors and for parents enjoying the Island. For sure next winter we will repeat it with Atlantis Academy.
A big thanks to all Coaches and Clubs involved in this big organization and success.

Next one will be 20 25 February again in Lanzarote to close our Winter. We are expecting a group of medallists and highly motivated sailors that will prepare their final leg of the season before qualifiers with us in Lanzarote. Can’t wait for that!

WHEN:

• 23-27 March 2024 CLINIC (5 days*) focus on Racing in Big Fleet (RACING ORIENTED CLINIC)
• 28-31 March 2024 RACE GARDA MEETING (4 days). Biggest race in the World with more than1000 Optimist.

*27 March is “suggested Rest day”. There will be some coach going in the water with who don’t
want to take rest but all activities will finish at 1pm to give enough rest to all sailors before the big
event. It could be full day sailing in case of no sailing in some past day of the Clinic due to weather
conditions.
Our schedule may vary due to weather conditions. No problem if somebody want to take full rest (it
will depends from conditions we sail in the previous days of training and the forecast for next days
of racing).
** 22 March in the afternoon there will be possibility to collect Charter Boats. Scheduled will be
communicated.
